About the Project

So here is CampusCloud™, a new Student Self Service Portal gaining some ground. The website features some very cool jQuery tooltip goodness if you are in Firefox. IE had some issues with the transparency animation so all they get is a show/hide effect, ‘hey at least I though of you guys.’ Like to thank Remi over at jqueryfordesigners.com for the awesome tutorial on those. I expanded the code to allow for multiple tooltips, positions on the screen and account for tooltip height.

About the project

CampusCloud™ is a new student self service application. After taking a couple of flights and having my head in the clouds I came up with a few sketches. After playing with a couple of fonts I finally decided on Comforta. I modified the ’s’ character since the original one didn’t seem to fit the overall style.

I gave the owners a quick preview and a color palette and they loved the direction. The entire logo was created in Illustrator, using a couple of transparency masks, dropshadows and converting text to outlines.

I produced two logos, one for a dark background and the other for a white background.

I’m in the process of designing their website so stay tuned.

About the project

Here are a handful of animations done for the nFusion Group here in Austin, Texas. The animations were an integral part of the Toshiba Exploravision website in 2008. My responsibilities included time line actionScipting and animation. Several techniques were used to capture the playfulness of the piece including masking effects, motiontweens and camera movements.

This was a fun and exciting project, I’d like to thank the people over at nFusion and Pixeldust for the opportunity.

About the project

Triton Sports Management was another great project to work on, because being a sports guy, most of their clients were former Heisman Trophy winners. Triton needed a CMS to manage both there clients and potential clients and Textpattern was chosen to be the solution at the time. This was a 3-4 person team working on the project from start to finish. My responsiblities were all over from textpattern install, setup and page configuration, flash animation, CSS fixes to post-production work. The site has recently been updated from the 2007 launch.

Animated for a Statefarm Campaign, Steve Harvey tells some jokes about… well nothing.

Flash Animation, Lip-Syncing and minimal actionscript, the script was not by me lol.

Convio provides marketing, fundraising and advocacy tools for non-profits. This interactive piece was developed in Flash to present on their website, tradeshow and handed out on a CD to potential clients. Another project from Pixeldust, my responsiblities included the overall flash framework, navigation and organized flash file. This project went through several changes and additions from the original concept. This was also the first time I used streaming Audio and Video in a flash project.

About the project

Ampersand Agency is an advertising firm located in Austin, Texas. Their online portfolio was one of my first professional projects back in 2004, I know, it was a long time ago. I nearly had all the creative freedom on this project, everything from animation, navigation and scripting. Ampersand still uses this site today, which of course I’m very proud of. Again I’d like to thank Pixeldust for this opportunity.
